How it's done
It looks like a surface made up of several layers, two electrodes separated by an electrolyte, all developed entirely by the team. This tri-layer is then covered with a protective carbon fiber case for structural purpose. By overlapping more tri-layers it is also possible to obtain a device capable of occupying empty volumes.
